LandTheRole is built around a different premise: that one thoughtful application beats fifty templated ones. We combine considered AI tools with a calm place to track your search — for the people who would rather do this properly than at scale.
What the tool does
LandTheRole is a career toolkit designed for UK job seekers. Here's what you can do:

- Optimise your LinkedIn profile with AI suggestions for your headline, About section, experience descriptions, and keyword strategy
- Track all your applications on a Kanban board with statuses from initial application through to offer
- Manage contacts like recruiters and hiring managers, linked to your companies and job applications
How pricing works
We use a pay-as-you-go credit system. There are no subscriptions and no monthly fees. Every new account starts with 30 free credits, and you buy more only when you need them. Most job seekers save over 60% compared to subscription-based tools. Job tracking, company management, and contact management are completely free with no limits.
We chose this model because job searching is inherently temporary. You shouldn't be locked into a monthly subscription when you might only need the tool intensively for a few weeks.
Built for the UK
LandTheRole uses British English spelling and formatting conventions throughout. It understands UK CV format, notice periods, right-to-work considerations, and competency-based interview practices that are standard in UK hiring.
Technology
The platform is built with modern web technologies and deployed on Cloudflare's global edge network for fast performance worldwide. AI features are powered by Anthropic's Claude, chosen for its strong reasoning capabilities and natural language quality. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
Privacy and security
Your data is encrypted at rest, transmitted over HTTPS, and never sold to third parties. We are fully GDPR compliant — you can export all your data or delete your account at any time from your settings. We store the minimum data necessary to provide our services.
